Dolomite is a carbonate mineral with a crystal structure as like as calcite, often in the form of rhombohedrons. The main component is calcium magnesium carbonate (CaMg(CO3)2), which is one of the common rocks in the earth's crust. Dolomite ore is usually white or gray, and sometimes yellow, brown or other colors due to the presence of impurities. The main mineral components of dolomite and dolomitic limestone are composed of dolomite.
